Titanium alloy products with good quality. It is very important to inspect the materials before processing. Conventional inspection is as follows:

2.Mechanical performance test: must ensure that the same batch is the same furnace number, the same heat treatment process.The inspection mainly includes:

2). Impact test: it is used to test the toughness of materials, impact load and vibration load when working, or parts working at high temperature and high speed, such as turbine disc, turbine blade, etc., generally need to carry out impact test.

3. Hardness test: commonly used in Centigrade production, to judge the mechanical properties of materials is relatively shear method.The purpose of hardness test is to ensure the normal cutting performance of the material during processing, to judge the decarbonization of the material surface, and to understand the uneven degree of the internal organization of the material. The hardness test is generally carried out after the heat treatment of the material, which can be Brinell hardness or Rockwell hardness.

4. Other tests: for some important or large die forgings, or materials working under special conditions, fatigue resistance, bending, torsion, high temperature creep and endurance strength tests shall be carried out as required.

Visual inspection of titanium alloy appearance: this is a common method of inspection between processes. To check the defects such as folding, crack, crush, scar, surface over burn and so on.Deep concealed defects on the surface of the material are often observed after heat treatment and cleaning.

Dimension measurement inspection: including: length, width and height, tolerance of form and position, displacement, etc.Measuring tools have calipers, calipers, micrometer, ring gauge, plug gauge, sample, special fixture and so on can also be controlled by computer and analysis of the processing of the inspection instrument, or the use of optical comparator, optical projector to do the relevant size inspection.
